My daughter and I had the privilege to speak to Veteran Inmates. We learned a lot during our discussion with these veterans. Some of the mental health struggles that veterans face are PTSD and depression. Veterans’ mental health is often overlooked.

Reins of Hope

Reins of H.O.P.E. reaches out to veterans and active duty in California who are experiencing mental health issues, PTSD symptoms, and difficulty with reintegration through equine therapy. We had the pleasure of speaking with the staff about the program and mental health.
